Chico, CA – July 24, 2011…Momentum is always a key thing in racing and Chico’s Brett Miller has certainly built it up over the last month. Fresh off a victory the previous week Miller proceeded to back that up with a close second place finish this past Friday at Silver Dollar Speedway’s “Open 360 Showdown.” The victory two Friday’s ago marked Miller’s fifth career 410 sprint car triumph and very first since teaming up with Coors Light & Brian Cannon Motorsports in the off-season. The win was also sweet redemption for Miller, who had led much of the main event on July 4 at SDS, only to lose the lead late in the race to Sacramento’s Mile Henry and have to settle for a second place finish that night. |
